We have been given all things in Christ (2peter 1:3-4 & Ephesians 1:3)
" According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these things ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust."
Our opening Scripture today shows us that in Christ, we have been given all things that pertain to life and godliness. Please note that it says we have been given, not that we shall be given. God is not about to do,nor will he do it sometime in the future, in the sweet by and by; hehas already done it.o the word tells us that on account of all that we have been given, God has given us exceeding great and precious promises.
